Introducing A Moment in Time – Louisiana:  A Visual History of a State, which brings to life 81 topics in Louisiana’s rich and fascinating history.  Ten units cover Louisiana’s earliest years through the 20th century.

Narrated by Dan Roberts, host of the internationally broadcast radio history program, A Moment in Time, these three to five minute videos are entertaining and informative.

We are so excited to be able to offer this teaching instrument to teachers, parents and students as they study Louisiana’s rich history.

These vignettes have been prepared by teachers for teachers and are an exciting way to make the history of Louisiana readily available and provide support for teachers.  Each video includes narration, images, and a quick quiz to help recall details.  Video transcripts, longer essays, and additional quiz questions are included as a separate CD.  Teachers can incorporate this audiovisual resource into their lessons in multiple classroom scenarios.  

Students and parents can use them at home to review and prepare.

An even wider audience will find these vignettes a mesmerizing and fun way to learn about our amazing state.
